Evan Michael Chambers was a Pittsburgh Pirates Minor League player who passed away tragically in his sleep at age 24 due to an undetected Heart defect.  He was loved by so many people because of his love for the game of baseball and the amazing way that he lived his life.  He became the only Pittsburgh Pirates Minor League Player to ever have his number (#53) retired.  He was also named to the Florida State League Hall Of Fame.

Though we had done commercials with Evan years earlier while he played in the Pirates organization.  We were not introduced to the Chambers family until about a year after Evan’s passing. We were inspired by their desire to create an organization to honor Evan his memory and the inspiring way he lived his life.  They were looking to center the foundation around the values and principles he lived by and the messages learned through baseball that helped shape him into the man he was.

Together with Evan’s parents, Evan Sr. and Denise Chambers, we formed a plan with them to create the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation.  The acronym L.O.V.E. is based on the L.O.V.E. Principle that guided Evan’s life, which is Lifting oneself and Others towards Victory and Excellence.

We designed their brand. Complete with logo, colors, image, print materials, social media, etc.  We are very proud of all that the Evan Michael Chambers L.O.V.E. Foundation has been doing.  This new foundation has held events, spoke to groups, and even started a very successful softball and baseball league named after Evan.

We continue a great relationship with the brand as they continue to do amazing things. inspiring children and adults with messages learned through love, positivity, and baseball.
