Jonathan

Jonathan is one of our Client Relationship Coordinators here at Brand Story Experts. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, home to pop culture sensations Shakira and Sofia Vergara, he resided there until he graduated high school. That is when he decided to take a leap and become an international student in the United States. Jonathan is proud of his heritage but quickly fell in love with Tampa, FL. He attended the University of South Florida where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Information Systems Management. Jonathan went the extra mile and completed a certificate in Visualization and Design. He has fallen in love with Southwest Florida, its people, and the possibilities – the hurricanes, not so much. Throughout his time at USF he worked as the Vice President of Programming for the Center for Student Involvement. Jonathan also interned at Chief Outsiders, a fractional CMO company, where he managed their website analytics, eBooks, and blogs.

His past experiences have integrated him seamlessly into our BSE team. Jonathan’s favorite part of his job is being exposed to all the data BSE uses to make smarter marketing decisions. He enjoys collaborating with our team on metrics and finding solutions for our clients. Jonathan appreciates the supportive and engaging culture at BSE, he says “I feel this is a great space for growing and the team has done everything to set me up for success.” Outside of work, you can find Jonathan by the pool, indulging at a new restaurant, horseback riding, and visiting the theme parks in Orlando. Whatever he is doing, he is always surrounded by his friends – who have quickly become his second family while being away from home.

Jonathan’s favorite TV show of all time is Lost, but he still can’t stop thinking about Bridgerton. Three things on his bucket list are visiting a wildcat sanctuary, owning a boat, and experiencing carnavales in his hometown. Jonathan’s superpower would be to summon food at will – to satisfy the foodie in him at all times.
